Profile

Born to a comic-book industry entrepreneur father and a lifelong artist mother, I’ve been surrounded by the art process as long as I can remember. I spent my earliest years trying to learn the secrets of comic-book art. My father noticed this and made it a point to help supply that art knowledge with books like How to Draw Comics the Marvel Way. Eventually, my love for drawing and painting evolved into an obsession with computer graphics. I spent my teen years learning graphics software and how to create web graphics and vector art. I continued to develop my skills throughout high-school, and after graduating I was given the opportunity to work as a junior designer for the family internet business, a small media company with just a handful of employees. I took this opportunity to learn under a few experienced designers and build my portfolio with real on-the-job experience. After a few years, I was the sole in-house designer handling all of the graphics work. Some of my notable contributions include creating promotional comic covers for Valiant comics and creating advertisements that were printed in Marvel and DC comics. In 2020 our company started moving more into the gaming industry and I took this opportunity to learn digital art for videogames. I worked in the off-hours learning game programming in Unity so I could better understand the game-creation process. In 2023 I pitched an idea for a mobile game. My pitch was accepted, and in less than a year I had finished all concepting, designing, modeling, animating, programming, sound-design and implementation of in-app purchasing. In 2023 I published Tinker Tools: Toddler Puzzles on the Apple App Store and in 2024 I published a Google Play Store version.

I’m currently doing freelance graphics, screen-printing t-shirts in my garage (lol), and building some solo game projects! If you think you could benefit from my skillset and you’d like to work together, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
