Profile

Born to a comic-book industry entrepreneur father and a lifelong artist mother, I’ve been surrounded by the art process as long as I can remember. Eventually, my love for drawing and painting evolved into an obsession with computer graphics. I spent my teen years teaching myself graphics software and learning how to create web graphics and vector art. If there was something that could be created in Photoshop or Illustrator, I wanted to know how to do it. I continued to develop my skills throughout high-school, and after graduating I was given the opportunity to work as a junior designer for the family business. I took this opportunity to learn under experienced designers and build my portfolio with real on-the-job experience. After a few years, I was the sole in-house designer handling all of the graphics work. Some of my notable contributions include creating promotional comic covers for Valiant comics and creating advertisements that were printed in Marvel and DC comics. In 2020 our company started moving more into the gaming industry and I took this opportunity to learn digital art for videogames. Unsatisfied with my contributions, I worked in the off-hours teaching myself game programming in Unity so I could better understand the game-creation process. In 2023 I pitched an idea for a mobile game. My pitch was accepted, and in less than a year I had finished all concepting, designing, modeling, animating, programming, sound-design and implementation of in-app purchasing. In 2023 I published Tinker Tools: Toddler Puzzles on the Apple App Store and in 2024 I published a Google Play Store version.
